It is with great sorrow that the family announces her death in Sudbury on Monday, May 14, 2012. Daughter of Vincent Hickey and Eileen Hickey of Dowling. Beloved sister of Jerome (Diane), Kenneth (Nancy) and Todd (Melanie). Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Chad, Bryan, Sydney, Devin, Drake, Journey and Addler. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her relatives and friends. The family will receive family and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R R 15, Chelmsford, Friday, May 18, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Chelmsford. It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death in Sudbury on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Fortunat Joanette and late Elda (née Serré) Joanette. Husband of the late Gabrielle (née David) Joanette (1996). Loving father of Suzanne Rouleau (Marcel) of Hanmer, Gisèle Poirier (Normand Brosseau), Marcel (Line) and René (Marelen) all of Chelmsford, André (Rose Marie) of Marathon, Simone Duval (Martin) of Vars, Qc., Monique Joanette and Aurèle both of Sudbury. Dear brother of Delphis (Thérèse) of Sudbury, Ida Gravelle (late Aurel), Berthe Lavoie (late Claude), Juliette Gravelle (late Roger) all of Chelmsford, Cécile Leclair (late Fernand) of Val Caron and Lucille Beach (Vern) of Arizona, U.S.A. Predeceased by his sisters Délima Campbell (late Roy) and Alma Joly (late Henry). Sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Roger was very involved in his parish as well as being a member of “La Vie Montante” and “Légion de Marie”. He was a retired glass cutter for Carrington Lumber. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R R 15, Chelmsford, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St-Joseph’s Church, Chelmsford. The family announces with sorrow his death in Dowling, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Joseph Michlowski and the late Vera (née Gorval) Michlowski. Husband of 58 years of Carmen (née Castonguay) Michlouski. Loving father of Daniel (Marian) and Bruce (Jeanne-Marie) both of Dowling, Ruth Anne Hollands (Matthew) of Garson, Louise Lauzon (Allen) of Kirkland Lake and Katherine Michlowski (Clay Reberts) of Shawville, Que. Dear brother of Michael (Jenny) of Chelmsford, “Joey” Joseph (Donna) of Toronto, “Jim” James (Judy) of Sudbury and Diane Beacock (Glen) of Elliot Lake. Predeceased by his brother Stanley (late Joan). Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Edward was retired from Inco after 40 years service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing. The family announces with sorrow, his passing peacefully at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Xavier Poirier and the late Alexine (née Labelle) Poirier. Husband of the late Anita Daley (1980) and Clarisse Lalonde-Poirier. Loving father of Jocelyn Poirier, Conrad Poirier (Reenie), Rose Daypuck (Reg), Allan Poirier (Janet Dustin), Carole Poirier (Tom Elliott), Mike Poirier (Jen Barnwell/Wise) and Greg Poirier all of London. Stepfather to Richard Lalonde (Jackie), Robert Lalonde (Kerry Mitchell) and Carole Weiman (Ken). Dear brother of Léandre (Jeanne) of Azilda and Louis-Marie (friend Joanne) of Cartier, Marie-Laure Day (late Merlan) of Moncton N.B. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Gaetanne Leclaire, Aldegone Nadeau, Emeline, Ozell Arsenault (Rhéal) and Jean-Guillaume. Lovingly remembered by his 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. André was a member of the “Club d’Âge d’Or” of Hanmer, Knights of Columbus, Council 5005 Hanmer. Funeral prayers will be held Friday at 8 p.m. André also volunteered many hours to Meals on Wheels, Pioneer Manor, Elizabeth Centre and was very involved with his church. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph, Hanmer, Friday, May 18, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
