Contributions
The Cooperative Funeral Home of Greater Sudbury endorses many organizations within the community such as: the Horace Viau evening, the Club Richelieu of Greater Sudbury, the Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario, la Nuit sur l’Étang, Ride for Dads, the Saint Jean Baptist celebration and numerous others.
The Cooperative has contributed and continues to encourage growth in the community by financially investing in the centre for palliative care in Sudbury, Maison Vale Inco Hospice and the St-Gabriel Villa in Chelmsford, among others. The Cooperative Funeral Home also lends financial support to the numerous parishes in our region and the Collège Boréal Foundation, just to name a few.
The children of today are close to our heart since they are in reality the future of tomorrow. Therefore, our budget allows an annual bursary fund to reward students at graduation ceremonies, supporting our elementary schools, our high schools and our post-graduates.
All in all the Cooperative Funeral Home influences activities touching language, culture, youth and our community.
